The Moondrop Lan II is a budget-friendly dynamic driver IEM featuring a premium stainless steel build and a 10mm glass-dome diaphragm. It offers two distinct tunings: the bass-forward, vocal-centric “POP” and the detailed, mid-high focused “REF” for reference-grade clarity.

- Two Tuning Profiles: Available in two distinct versions. Lan 2 REF is tuned for a clean, reference-grade sound with a focus on mid-high frequencies and spatial detail. Lan 2 POP offers a fun, energetic signature with enhanced mid-bass and forward vocals.
- Glass-Dome Diaphragm: The brand-new driver uses a highly rigid, ultra-thin solid glass dome. This design drastically reduces distortion and improves high-frequency extension and overall resolution.
- Dual Magnetic Circuit: Features a highly efficient internal and external composite magnetic circuit utilizing N52 magnets. This delivers a strong magnetic flux, resulting in high sensitivity and fast transient response.
- Premium Stainless Steel Build: The earpieces are crafted using a high-precision MIM metallurgy process, giving them an ergonomic, durable, and highly textured metallic finish.
- Versatile Cable & Adapter: Includes a high-purity oxygen-free copper (OFC) cable terminated in a 4.4mm balanced plug, plus a matching high-quality 4.4mm female to 3.5mm male single-ended adapter right in the box for easy source matching.
Both versions of the Lan II are equipped with a high-performance composite magnetic circuit, which minimizes nonlinear distortion, ensuring stable low distortion performance even at high amplitudes.
LAN II REF
Fine tuned the mid-high frequency and instrumental part, enhancing spatial performance, ideal for interpreting instrumental and classical music.
LAN II POP
Fine tuned the mid-bass frequency and vocals part, emphasizing atmospheric performance, well-suited for representing vocals and pop music.
BENCHMARK PERFORMANCE
Both models utilize new materials developed through advanced technology, including a large glass dome composite diaphragm, a high-efficiency double magnetic driver structure (comprising both intemal and external magnets), and a metal stainless steel housing crafted using a Metal Injection Molding (MIM) process.
Regardless of material costs, the aim is to uphold the LAN series' benchmark HiFi performance. Maintaining the compact design of its predecessor, the newly upgraded acoustic hardware has been scientifically optimized by MOONDROP's experienced R&D team. As a result, the sound quality of the Lan series has been further enhanced.
BRAND-NEW GLASS DOME COMPOSITE DIAPHRAGM
Both Lan II_REF and Lan ILPOP feature a brand-new composite diaphragm with a glass dome. This solid glass dome, measuring just 0.05 mm in thickness, is produced using a high-precision mold and a specialized glass-making process. It boasts an ultra-high Young's modulus and an exceptional intemal resistance coemcient, which together provide high-frequency extension and resolution that traditional diaphragms cannot achieve.
The flexible suspension designed specifically for the glass dome not only supports the entire suspension system but also features a more linear long-stroke strain. This combination results in ultra-low distortion, a large dynamic stroke, and high-frequency resolution.
HIGH-EFFICIENCY INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MAGNETIC COMPOSITE DUAL-MAGNETIC DRIVER
The high-effciency internal and external magnetic composite dual-magnetic driver utilizes two concentric N52 magnets within its internal and external magnetic circuit. This design. optimized through a large-scale finite element simulation system. generates a uniform and symmetrical magnetic flux density exceeding 1T in the magnetic gap. As a result. the voice coil drives the diaphragm efficiently and smoothly, delivering outstanding dynamic acoustic performance.
MIM POWDER STAINLESS STEEL HOUSING
The Lan II features advanced MIM powder metallurgy technology in a compact design, with a solid stainless steel housing created through precise molding and high-temperature sintering. The laser-engraved pattems on both versions' panels not only maintain the iconic designs of the Lan series but also incorporate new details, resulting in a refined texture and unique aesthetics.
UNIVERSAL INTERCHANGEABLE CABLE DESIGN
Lan II feature a universal 0.78mm interchangeable cable design, allowing users to easily replace cables. Whether you need to replace or upgrade the cable, extend a cable for stage monitoring or production, use a microphone cable for conference calls/live/game, or connect Bluetooth accessories, this design offers flexibility.
